Rich Mullins and Catholicism

Catholic, General

I was looking at a list of famous Catholics today and was intrigued by what I saw. Some on the list surprised me and I’m glad that many of the celebrities aren’t the public face of Catholicism! It’s probably safe to assume that many of those on the list were simply raised Catholic since they don’t seem to identify with their Faith now.

One entry that particularly shocked me was Rich Mullins, a singer I was familiar with during my evangelical days. I didn’t know that Mullins was interested in Catholicism nor that he was probably only a couple days away from conversion before his tragic car crash.
